In June 2010 I took this photograph of a black rhino in Namibia. The photograph has received many positive comments from the photographic and art community. I have been moved by the upsurge in rhino poaching over the past 6 years and felt I would like to contribute something towards the putting an end to this senseless massacre. I approached World Wildlife Fund and EKZN Wildlife and they are now supporting my effort. Since November 2010 I have managed to raise R60 000 through various sales and auctions throughout the world with this photograph. It has been sold in America, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, Poland, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa. The world wide response has been phenomenal and I, as well as the anti poaching teams, are ever so greatful for everyones support in this matter and I will continue to donate a portion of all sales made from my wildlife photography to conservation.
